PRP Skin and Hair

Transforming Customer: Tailored Solutions for Experiences.

Your blood carries everything your body uses to repair itself. Platelet rich plasma treatment concentrates that repair capacity and puts it exactly where you want it: into a thinning scalp, or into skin that has lost its firmness. Nothing synthetic is added. The material injected is derived from a small sample of your own blood, drawn at the start of your appointment.

While PRP has become popular in aesthetics only recently, orthopaedic physicians have used it on injured joints for many years. It is an established medical procedure with a long track record, and at Le Rêve it is performed by licensed medical professionals rather than delegated to a technician.

Where PRP Works Best

PRP performs best where there is still living tissue to stimulate. For hair, that means follicles that have miniaturised but not disappeared, which is why early treatment tends to give better results than waiting. For skin, it means addressing collagen decline before laxity becomes severe.

Commonly treated: thinning hair on the scalp, sparse eyebrows, early pattern hair loss, dull or tired looking skin, fine lines, uneven tone, and skin texture that has lost bounce.

01.
Draw

A small blood sample is taken from your arm, exactly as it would be for a routine lab test. The draw takes a couple of minutes.

02.
Separate

The sample is spun in a centrifuge to separate the platelet rich layer from red cells, concentrating the growth factors your body uses for repair.

03.
Apply

The concentrate is injected into the scalp or skin, or applied through microneedling channels, depending on which approach suits your goals.

Frequently asked questions

PRP works by stimulating follicles that are still alive but underperforming. Where a follicle has fully closed, no injection will bring it back. This is why an honest assessment matters more than a sales pitch. If your pattern of loss is too advanced for PRP to help meaningfully, we will tell you and discuss other options.

A typical starting course is three to four sessions spaced four to six weeks apart, followed by maintenance every four to six months. Hair growth cycles are slow, so photographs at each visit are the most reliable way to judge progress rather than day to day impressions.

Scalp injections are the more sensitive of the two. We use a topical numbing agent and a fine needle, and most patients describe it as brief stinging rather than significant pain. Facial PRP applied through microneedling is generally very tolerable after numbing.

Very little. Expect mild tenderness, redness or slight swelling for a day or so. Most patients return to normal activity immediately. We will ask you to avoid washing the scalp and to skip strenuous exercise for the rest of the day.

Topical products work on the surface and require indefinite daily use. PRP delivers concentrated growth factors below the surface, directly into the tissue. Many patients use both. What PRP cannot do is override an underlying medical cause of hair loss, so we screen for thyroid, iron and hormonal factors first.
