Botox & Fillers
Injectables have a reputation problem, and it is usually the result of too much product placed by someone who did not fully understand the underlying anatomy. Done well, the effect is quiet: you look rested, and people notice that rather than the treatment. That is the standard we work to at Le Rêve.
Botox relaxes the specific muscles that create expression lines. Dermal fillers restore volume where the face has lost fat and structural support with age. We work with Restylane and Juvederm dermal fillers alongside Botox. They solve different problems, and many patients benefit from a combination planned across the whole face rather than treating one line at a time.

What We Treat
We start with a full face assessment rather than a menu. Sometimes the line you are worried about is best addressed somewhere else entirely, and sometimes the honest answer is that a skin treatment will serve you better than an injectable.
Commonly treated: forehead lines, frown lines between the brows, crow's feet, lip volume and definition, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, cheek and temple volume loss, and jawline definition.
Assess
We map your facial anatomy, discuss what is bothering you and what you want to avoid, and agree a plan before a single unit is drawn up.
Treat
Injections are placed with a fine needle or cannula. Most appointments take fifteen to thirty minutes depending on the areas being treated.
Review
We schedule a follow up around two weeks later to assess how the product has settled and make small adjustments if needed.
Frequently asked questions
Botox typically lasts three to four months before muscle movement gradually returns. Dermal fillers last longer, generally six to eighteen months depending on the product, the area treated and your metabolism. Neither is permanent, which is deliberate: it means the result can be adjusted as your face changes.
Not if the dosing is right. Our approach is conservative, and we would rather start lower and add at your two week review than overtreat and leave you waiting months for it to wear off. If you want a very dramatic result, we will tell you honestly whether we are the right practice for you.
Botox uses a very fine needle and most patients describe a brief pinch. Fillers can be more sensitive, particularly in the lips, so we use topical numbing and most filler products contain a local anaesthetic. Some bruising or swelling for a few days is normal.
Very little. You can return to work the same day. We ask you to stay upright for four hours after Botox, avoid strenuous exercise for twenty four hours, and skip facials or massages in the treated area for two weeks.
Injectables are not appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding, for patients with certain neuromuscular conditions, active skin infection in the treatment area, or known allergy to the product. We review your medical history at consultation.
